In the interest of protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff and community, all IOP groups have moved to a tele-health platform. We are utilizing ZOOM for these groups and they will still meet at the same times as originally scheduled. Please contact out outpatient services for instructions on virtual attendance.
Our outpatient services focus on the emotional, behavioral and social needs using a mind-body approach to treatment. The overall goal of the programs is to support patients in identifying strategies they and their support systems can use to cope with the unique challenges they face.
Palo Verde Behavioral Health’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a medically-supervised psychiatric program that offers comprehensive clinical services for individuals experiencing increased symptoms, behavioral disturbances or other conditions negatively impacting mental and behavioral function in their daily lives without requiring around-the-clock psychiatric care. The purpose of PHP is to evaluate and treat psychiatric concerns and/or to help prevent relapse or the need for hospitalization.
Similar to our PHP program, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers group therapy services for individuals experiencing increased symptoms, behavioral disturbances or other conditions negatively impacting mental and behavioral function in their daily lives, but at in a less supervised structure.
Palo Verde Behavioral Health offers group therapy, individual therapy, and medication management for pregnant and postpartum mothers. The Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program’s (IOP) topics include coping skills, parenting strategies, and partner communication. Childcare is provided and infants are welcome to join mothers during IOP.
