Child Medication Management

Child psychiatric programming includes a scheduled session with a board-certified child psychiatrist for the initial diagnostic evaluation, to assess the need for additional interventions such as therapy, family therapy and/or medications. Ongoing follow-up appointments with the psychiatrist may involve brief behavioral counseling, medication management and education and needed, psychoeducation and collaborative care depending on the treatment needs and individualized plan.
